1. 10 – 11 AM – Arico Nuevo

The first objective of the tour takes us to the 18th century, revealing to us the daily life of the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands.
Arico Nuevo is a charming medieval village whose core is declared of Cultural Interest. You will be delighted to wander the narrow streets and discover the beauty of the ensemble of buildings of great historical, architectural and ethnographic value.
Also, in the central square there is a small and picturesque restaurant where you can have a coffee or a juice. (consumption in Arico Nuevo is not included in the price of the trip).

2. 11.15 – 11. 20 – Viewpoint Las Eras. Viewpoint that offers spectacular views over the towns of Fasnia and Arico.

3. 11. 25 – 11.45 – OLD TINY HAMLET DE ICOR, ARICO – ABANDONED MEDIEVAL HAMLET OF ICOR.

Icor is an interesting medieval hamlet, mentioned in the documentary since the beginning of the 16th century. Although now partially abandoned, it is worth visiting for the few medieval buildings left standing.
Here you can sit in the shade and enjoy a glass of canarian honey rum or a soft drink (consumption included in the price)

4. 12.00 AM– 12.30 PM – LOS CAZADORES RECREATIONAL AREA, FASNIA ARICO- Altitude 1132 m

After 10 -15 minutes of relaxation, we will continue the adventure and we will climb to the top of the mantle up to about 1132 m.LOS CAZADORES AREA is a wiewpoint point with a very little chapel, benches and tables. From here you can admire all the beaches in ARICO and FASNIA
You will see the canals that bring water from the mountains and touch the water that flows right next to you.
You will be able to see the entrance to the Los Cazadores Water Gallery, active gallery, water supply with a total length of over 4000 m (Access to the gallery is forbidden for security reasons)
You can walk a few steps on the “trail of las eras”, and see “las eras” circular areas where grain was traditionally threshed.
You will receive a lot of interesting information about places, activities and local traditions.

5. 12.40 – 14.10 CANARIAN WINNERY – TASTING OF WINES and TRADITIONAL FOOD (Consumption included in the total price of the trip)

We leave the top of the mountains but do not go down much. About 900 meters above the ocean is the main attraction of our tour – A small wine cellar with Canarian wines produced in limited series.
The winery bases its production of traditional wines on its famous vineyards located between 250 and 850 m above sea level.
For about 1.30 hours, you will be able to enjoy the hospitality of our host, enjoying several kinds of white and red wines but also a consistent snack with local specialties: papas arrugadas, mojo, organic cheeses produced locally, etc.
The owner of the winery is a cheerful and non-conformist host ready at any time to provide you with information about his wines, the manufacturing process and to answer your questions.

7. 14.30 – 15.00 – FISHING VILLAGE OF LOS ROQUES FASNIA AND EL ABRIGO BEACH

After enjoying the local goodies we will make a radical change of scenery going down to the ocean level in the only Los Roques.
Los Roques is a charming fishing village, hidden between two huge blocks of volcanic rock. Access to the old town is only on foot, descending for 2-3 minutes among the fishing houses perched on the steep slopes. We quickly reach the small beach where we will be enchanted by the contrast between the giant black rocks and the emerald ocean.
Return home
After visiting the last objective we will leave for home, well disposed and satisfied with places, people and the unique experience lived in the wonderful island of Tenerife.
